I have a 66 coronet convertible that I have had for a number of years and never and driven.....it is a 383 automatic car.....it has been in my garage and on a rotisserie for almost all the time I have owned it.....now it is off and ready to be put back together, but I don't have the funds to get the 383 done at this time....

Here is my question....

I have a 1967 4 door coronet that runs and drives great....it is a 318, automatic.

can I just swap out the front ends....ie, k frame and suspension stuff? if not, why? I was thinking this would be an easy way to enjoy the convert for the summer....

thanks for any advice.....

Yessir.. Everything should bolt up. K-frames are the same, suspension pieces are the same. Only snag you may run into is if one car has manual steering and the other has power. Columns are different between the 2.
You can unbolt the engine/trans from the 67 and bolt it right into the '66
SE 4-door looks pretty nice

Vert looks sweet too Smile
thank you for the kind words.....I already have the big block K-frame in the car....the 318 will just bolt up to that is what you are saying? both cars were power steering cars...
If that is the case, thank you MOPAR gods....you have put wind back in my sails.....I am dying to drive the vert!
Converts are cool, nothing like having the wind in your hair, well, some of us have less then others!!!!!!!!!!
For 66-70, the K-frames are the same for small to big block. So the 318 will drop right in to the 'vert and bolt up.
