Had original block taken out to 496ci with Scat bottom end and JE forged pistons. All voodoo Lunati top end with 510 lift. New 870 street avenger.
Had to upgrade poor old original 727 as well as she struggled lol. Shift kit and 3000 BM stall converter.
Took off stealth heads and put back on 915 original magnum heads. Of course ported/polished and all new ferrea valves. Hughes roller rockers
MSD with blaster 3 coil. I think I have more torque than HP.
When I save up some money for fuel, I will terrorize the local Ford, GM population here.

very cool, did you like the stealths at all, or just wanted to go back to iron for preference?
Well it was my mate who is helping me. He dos'nt use Edelbrock or 440 source alloy heads anymore, because they apparently now use ching chong crap valves in them. And he suggested to use the closed combustion chamber 915's since i had them....increase compression. And Im not chasing 1/4 of a sec down the strip.
I just sold a set of 915s with some work done to them, and the buyer reported that it made HUGE gains on his 440
I am kind of kicking myself now!
been doing a lot of reearch on stroker kits, seems like scat or eagle are the best choices for our Mopes
what convertor/gear are you running?
Yeah, we agree with you on all fronts. Eagle and scat are great cranks for 440. And yeah did homework on heads, and am expecting better performance than stealth. Just increase of compression, intake and exhaust similar. Its all about the bang...
Torque converter is Aussie TCE street and strip... check out website

Your building my dream motor ...... drool
keep us posted with progress
Just put pistons in, waiting for heads to be finished. Nearly there....
I'd love to know what your engine does when you finish it. I built one similar about 13 years ago and it still sits in my basement collecting dust.
Well dust it...and ya wallet off, and chuck that sucker in the R/T ,
I suppose your like me, where everything has to go through Senior Management
can i have a bigger engine dear
