Progress on my 67 Coronet R/T
#61
Made a patch from a rust free outer wheel housing I scored recently.

Here's 2 photocopies I got when I sent my information in. I thought it was totally worth it. As I remember, you need to show proof of ownership and I did have a build sheet which I sent a copy with. I think the fee was $45, and it does take them some time to process it. It's all done by volunteers. They do not have records on every car, and will refund your money if they have no information for you. Hope they do have info on your car, and also I am enjoying your posts of your progress. It makes me want to start working on mine. I have a similar project and am finding yours very interesting.
Thanks,
Jim

I got my request filled out tonight and I'll send it off in the morning. We'll see what they can tell me. Hopefully they have my info!

For some unknown reason, there seems a lot of 67 b-bodies built in May 67.
Objects quickly DISAPPEAR in the rearview mirror and PLEASE stay seated until the ride comes to a complete stop!!

Not much to report on the Coronet at the moment. It's been too hot to mess with it much and I really need to buy some parts to move forward. Messed with the Challenger a little today since I already have quite a few parts for it sitting here. I scored these door emblems for the Coronet a while back. Not perfect, but not bad at all!

Got my build card today. Here is the decode page. My car was originally sold in Huntington Beach, California. Not Effingham, Illinois like I was told.

I just had them email it to me. Figured it would be quicker and it was $20 less. They did send a copy of the card as well. Pretty cool!

That is great, now you can research the dealership too. 2.94 gears? Wow freeway brawler
