My 67 Coronet 440 came with newly upholstered door liners, but not installed. I have the clips for installing. The problem is the liner panels have all the holes cut in them along the lower and forward and aft edges for the clips but are not there along the upper edge. The door itself has seven holes for the liner installation along the upper side. What would be the best way to locate these holes in the liners or should there be a trim piece above the liner panel?
Thanks,
John

The upper edge of door panel slips up and into the chrome strip running along the door.

Not always.. Some cars came with the chrome strip attached to the door panel itself.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.
