That's a question that's gonna depend on what pump you got, whether it's the Saginaw or Federated.

It's the federal/TRW pump. Years ago when my dad put headers on the car he he put a 45 degree fitting on the box and re-routed the hose away from the headers - It works but Id like to put it back to factory. Can anyone tell me (or look at your BB pwr steering car) what style fitting is in your steering box? IE : straight or 90 degree? I believe the '67 cars would be the same except for the return hose.

Jeff,

This is how it was routed on my 66. The hose was a new one from Year One and bolted right in. As you can see, it's a straight angle. And yes, the pressure hoses are the same, the return hoses are smaller on the 67's.

I'm using it to hold up my garter belt... after all, it's the same for the Hemi so can only use the very best..

Mike,
Was that a running engine? I've only ever seen spark plugs that rusty on an engine sitting out in a field. Thanks for the pic, I see yours has a straight fitting.

Yes, it was running, started right up, and it wasn't a pre-start before got there because I went to look at the Road Runner next to it..
