Has any one ran an in tank fuel pump in their cars to their carbys.
the issue I have is that I cannot have the holley electric fuel pump gravity fed as the fuel tank pick up is on top of the tank.
so I was wondering what have people done with this situation.
cheers
Almost all in tank fuel pumps are designed for EFI systems, so you need to do some special configuration with regulators to get the pressure down that a carb can use.
Most add a sump to the bottom of the tank and run the fuel lines off that.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.
My holley elec. pump is on the inside of my pass. side frame rail down low by the front spring hanger, using a stock 3/8 pick up / sending unit in the tank.
It's worked perfectly fine for the last 15 years.
It is noisy........
