swapped a new cam in again - 65rbdodge - 03-22-13 i put different cam in the 318 i built for my desoto again. this is the third one and it has not even ran yet! i guess i cant make up my mind. i first put this motor together 4 years ago. its an 86 van 318 i got off of a friend for free. i rebuilt it, +.030, 10/10 crank, cast pistons, windage tray, #302 heads, performer intake, 450 holley spread bore factory 340 cam. 2 years ago i decided to put a comp cams xe254 cam in it and a wieand stealth intake. now i ve decided to go roller(since it was a roller block) so i got a LA roller cam out of the junkyard, had it reground by bullet cams and i`m putting some redrilled magnum heads w/ rocker studs/guide plates and chevy 1.6 roller rockers. i`m really going for mpg here and not a performance build. next thing to do is pull these heads and put the magnums on. swapped a new cam in again - 4264door - 03-22-13 Neat project! Don't worry about the back and forth, at least you are doing more than wishing what you want.
