Put this in and keep your factory one under wraps, I would consider more road trips with this beauty. Cost? anyone hear yet? Passon 5-speed - 67440Dodge - 02-22-13 Yea... north of $3grand (close to 4) when I was looking into it. Passon 5-speed - Piper - 02-22-13 Check out the calulator I plugged in the ratios and with my 4.30s I would be around 2200 @ 65 MPH with one of these bad boys! http://www.markwilliams.com/calculators.aspx Passon 5-speed - hemidon1 - 02-22-13 Ive been putting 5 & 6-speed sticks in my hemi & max wedge cars & think theyre the best--kept the stock trannys on a shelf if there was ever a need to go back--but I never will go back--cruised south on interstate 95 @ 2400 we were cruiseing @ 115 mph & it was smooth as 45 on the boulivard---80 mph is only 2000 rpm--the sweetest part is that in two years I actually pay off the cost ( about 4 thousand) with fuel saveings--At 80-85 mph Im getting 25+ mpgallon in a 63-B-body---drove my 76 Hemi coronet to New york & back with 10 days in the mountains & got 24.2 mpgallon as average for the trip of over 4 thousand miles--With a taller 1st gear ratio in the tranny-it leaves faster & Ive discovered I dont need wild cams anymore--gearing is everything Passon 5-speed - 67r/t4speeder - 02-23-13 Piper Wrote:Check out the calulatorwould this be nice or what, I am at2900 now |
