My 72 has a 8 3/4 rearend, I have the stock rims from my 88 dodge pickup. They are the size I want to run on the rear, can I swap the axles from a truck 8 3/4 into my coronets rearend?

Your Coronet has 30 5/8 length axles stock.
Are you sure that `88 truck has a 8 3/4 rearend? They are more than likely different length.

I have not really checked, I was looking for a cheap way to run bigger rims. The other rearend is out of a 74 ramcharger.
