Fuel filler neck install - Mark's 69 - 04-08-17 After trying unsuccessfully to get the filler neck started in the new tank with new seal I looked at the bolt holes in the bumper and the light bulb light up in my head. I grabbed a piece of angle iron and a nut and bolt for leverage and it pushed in with little effort! I hope this idea helps other members out there. Fuel filler neck install - David Lee - 04-12-17 Yesterday, I replaced both elbow vents, fill hose elbow, and tank grommet. (67) I used a thin film of dish soap. The entire job was far more difficult than it should have been. Especially that top elbow vent up against the trunk, sporting the original crimp clamps. It should last for another fifty years though. |
