The Queen of Drexel Hill - Irores - 09-28-15 Hello fellow Coronet owners I have bought a ´67 500 at an internet auction. She has a 273 c.i. engine. This is an unmolested ride. Fortunately the car looked way worse that it really is on the Ebay photos, so there was little competition for the winning bid. I live in Iceland and in addition to the Coronet, I have three other Mopars; amongst them a ´66 Charger with a 451.ci engine that I built. I drag race that machine with a best of 11.79 @111 mph on regular tires (i.e. non-soft compound). The Charger was imported new to Iceland. The rule of tumb is that anything you buy in the U.S. will have cost you double the U.S. market price, when shipping, custom fees and excise tax has been added to the purchase price. But, when beautiful Mopars show up; my wallet sometimes opens with disatrous consequences for the wallet but pleasant ones for me. Regards, Ragnar in Iceland The Queen of Drexel Hill - ws27 - 09-28-15 Welcome Ragnar, can't wait to see pics. What are the other two Mopars you have? The Queen of Drexel Hill - Smoke4570 - 09-29-15 Nice! Great to hear from owners from abroad. The Queen of Drexel Hill - Irores - 09-29-15 Thanks guys. My other Mopars are a ´08 Dakota Laramie 4x4 4.6 liter 300+ hp for them mountain and lava field trips (see photo) and an ´05 base Neon for transportation to and from work. But most of all I am a fan of ´66-´67 Mopar B-bodies and have been since buying my ´66 Charger in 1979. Regards, Ragnar in Iceland The Queen of Drexel Hill - 67r/t4speeder - 09-30-15 Welcome nice rides The Queen of Drexel Hill - ws27 - 09-30-15 That's a nice straight 500 you got.
