OK, it's on..

Yep I have to paint the rest of my grill again..I usually do it each winter anyway, since I drive my Coronet so much it gets small paint chips. The adhesion of paint on these grills is not great because it is over the brightwork.

Have you ever tried using self etching primer over the aluminum? You would be better probably stripping the anodize coating off that grill section for it to work the best
