I'll be on Woodward most of the week. The guys from Roadkill and the gasmonkeys are supose to have a drag race in the Silverdome parking lot on Wednsday. The City of Pontiac agreed to set up a 1/8 mile drag strip for the day.

The gas monkeys ended up winning the race. Their 67 dart much faster. It was 1,000 lbs lighter and they had a racing powerglide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQJ_D94HCZA
Dodge gave away a hellcat engine, trans & harness to the fastest dodge at the event. It was won by a 69 Super Bee. It was won all most won by a Ram with a cummins. The guy in the Supr Bee was smart! He staged right away not to let the Ram build boost. It certainly was a great start to my Woodward Dream cruise week. The only problem was a 32 ford with a blown Hemi lost his brakes and went thru the cement barrier at the end of the track. He got a little banged up and his car will not be driven any time soon. I'll post pictures later today.
