My 3 spd 727 tranny. It says in my owners manual to use dextron. All the dextron I found said for fords and chevy's.
I ws told not to use ATF4 in my car. What should I use?

In all honesty you could use anything. I wouldn't mix 'em though. Dextron is what Ma Mopar specifies. I run Type F in my racecar and ATF+4 is synthetic.

Ok, I have a friend with a 68 charger asking me the same question. I have been using ATF+4. I don't want to give the wrong advice so is there a right and wrong fluid for the 727?
