New bullet for the "Brick" - theman440 - 12-19-18 Got some more parts in - these are for the transmission. Lightened sun shell and aluminum forward clutch drum. These along with the transbrake & low gear set will be the only changes to the transmission besides a freshening. I'll cover more on this later. 1173611735 New bullet for the "Brick" - theman440 - 02-04-19 Well, I have finished the block water jacket fill (some time back) now the block is at the machine shop for a line bore and to get the deck squared. I finished the idiot light panel, I wired in a 6-pin connector for easy removal if needed - 11747 11748 I wanted to clean up the wiring while the engine was out. I had a few wires going thru the firewall via misc. holes. I will now have most of them pass thru the factory bulkhead connector. The bottom row of the upper connecter now houses the oil pressure, water temp, alt light & trans temp circuits. The bulkhead connector used Packard 56 series terminals. 11749 11750 New bullet for the "Brick" - theman440 - 02-04-19 I am also updating the brake system - new Strange master cylinder with the line-loc relocated to the the master via a Jegs bracket. 11751 I had to build all new brake lines for the front brakes and install a new proportioning valve. 11752 11753 I also needed to do some paint repair on the firewall - the old master seeped a bit. 11754 11755 New and refurbished parts ready to be installed - 11766 Old set up - 11760 New set up - 1176111759 New bullet for the "Brick" - theman440 - 02-04-19 I whipped up a drawing and had some brackets water jet cut - these will adapt the mustang brakes to the Dana 60. I still need to weld on some 5/16 thick spacers to them and drill some holes. They will bolt and weld onto the axle tube flanges. 11762 I took the wiper motor off to clean it up and replace the gasket. I also covered the wires with split loom - I will be doing this with all the under hood wiring. 11763 Got some more parts in too - 1176411765 New bullet for the "Brick" - 67r/t4speeder - 02-04-19 What brand prop. valve? Nice work your on a roll New bullet for the "Brick" - markz - 02-04-19 Looking great! I especially like the packard crimps. I always struggle with the insulation crimp on the packard connectors - the wire crimp is fine. Don't think I ever did find quite the right crimper for the insulation............ Don't think I ever did find quite the right crimper for the insulation............[/ I had trouble with the wire crimps on the male terminals. I had to file the tangs thinner to be able to crimp them, the females were easy. New bullet for the "Brick" - theman440 - 02-04-19 Andy, The prop valve Is a Jegs copy of a wilwood valve.
