The drum and axle have become one I have heard This works like magic with some heat, I have not tried it since I dont have any....yet . ![]() 54 Coronet Build - 48mirage - 01-04-14 Kroil is good stuff. You can also use a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF, but be warned you do not want to introduce any heat to this mix. 54 Coronet Build - 1954 in progress - 01-12-14 Well I got lucky on one side yesterday with the drum... I bought a spray can of "Curtisol Eas-Off" said industrail... I picked it up from a yard sale of all places for a quarter. Not saying it was the reason but I keep squirting it all week then I welded one side of my puller to hub for a good hold and added tension. Then I smacked it really hard a few times with a hammer and it POPPED! Now I'm on the other side.Good news is it actually looked good inside. So I'll replace drum and seals and wheel cylinders. QUESTION.. Does anyone know what year drums are the same? And if I could use standard lug studs. Or do I have to use left handed? Here are a few pics... 3410 3411 3412 54 Coronet Build - 67r/t4speeder - 01-12-14 Nice going |
