Curiosity for the masses here. Are the wheel wells in the '66-67 cars narrower than in the '64-65's?
I don't recall the backspacing but I had 15X10's on the back of my '65 500. The tire size was an H50-15 with Cragars. I also ran an L60-15 on 15X9 American Racing Torque Thrust rims too. The car was lifted slightly with additional leafs but I didn't have to move the springs in. The fact that the tire sizes have letters not numbers indicates how long ago this was.
