That old enamel paint is pretty tough - IMO you can stick base + clear coat paint up your A$$

Hi Piper, What size rear tires and wheels are on this nice ride? What offset are the wheels? Any mods to the wheelwell? I am going to stuff larger meats under my ´67 and therefore interested in this.

275/60/15 with 4 1/2 backspacing, would rub while making turns if people were sitting in the back. I changed to Caltracs and different shocks the old stuff was pretty worn.

Thanks for your quick reply. I had already bought Torque trust wheels with 4 1/2 back space (have not mounted them yet) because the info I gathered here and there on the www suggested that we need a pretty good backspace for that ´67 wheelwell. Guess I am on the right track.
