Ran my car again at a SCCA autocross event a few weeks ago, this time at MIS. I think I'm going to do this again next year. Been having a blast. It was in one of the parking lots outside the entrance of the speedway. The down side of the day was watching a new mustang cobra gt350r get destroyed. Thankfully no one was hurt but someones wallet took a big hit! Coming out of one of the slaloms there was a sweeping 90 degree left turn. Something happened and the mustang went straight and ended up crushing a big ice cooler then ended up on top of a cement base for a food sign. The air bags went off and the back of the car was destroyed. Not a cheep car!

The car already has helwig sway bars front & rear, T/A pitman arm, Hemi torsion bars and leaf springs and polygraphic suspension bushing. I would have to change the control arms to something with heim joint to make a difference and I'm don't think I want to go that way. Considering the class I run in the car is not too competitive. There are cars that are 1,200 lbs lighter with 315 series sticky tires. I do enjoy driving around the pylons !!
