What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - 67r/t4speeder - 04-15-15 Couple great looking B-bodies What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - thebankerstoy - 04-15-15 Both excellent cars indeed! I really love the color on the 70 GTX also! Richard What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - 67r/t4speeder - 04-20-15 Max was running perfect so decided to mess with it a couple weeks ago, I went too lean with the metering rods and springs and it started pinging. HHHMM never pinged before. So this weekend I put it back where it was when I bought the carb's new in 1983 and it runs perfect again .WOW What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - ckmopar500 - 04-24-15 tried to start it last night cant get any gas to the carb thinking I'm going to have to pull the tank not really looking forward to that on a positive the brakes i repaired 9 years ago still seem to work What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - harold prentice - 04-28-15 Now that the snow is gone, I pulled the Stromberg 2bbl from the 318 Poly in my '66 and rebuilt it. I got the kit from Mike's Carburetor Parts in Rochester Wa and it worked great. All the parts I needed were there and correct. A couple of years ago, I purchased a Vacuum pull off for the same carb from Mike's and it too worked & fit perfectly. A good company to deal with even if the shipping costs are very high. Back in March, still knee deep in snow (I'm in Ontario), I also installed the Pertronix Ignitor II coil to go with the Pertronix II module and power relay that I had installed last year. 1st time out today & the car works great - starts well, runs smooth & no more hesitation off idle. I'm a happy guy! What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - ws27 - 04-29-15 Way to go Harold. What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....??? - theman440 - 04-29-15 Changed the oil tonight - getting ready for the race this weekend. |
