So I think im going to look at replacing a portion of my car that has some pretty bad rust. I think I would like to look at getting it ahead of taking it in somewhere. This will allow me to pay as I go somewhat. What would this section be called? Quarter panel?

Yes, drivers' side 1/4 panel. You most likely will also need the inner fender 'dog house' as they rust very badly. I have a 4-door as well and have looked at so many of them and they all need replacement panels. How is the other sides' 1/4 panel?

The other side is in perfect shape. So I need to be looking for a one forth panel? Is that what its actually called?

Or is it called a quarter panel? I'm finding left side quarter panels but none of them have the hole for the gas tank?

Get a picture of the actual damage, the only thing made is some crappy hand formed lower patch panels. They can be used, but with lots of massaging.

Ws27 see above. I have a link showing the damage.

This is what I need right? This will replace from the back of tire all the way to the bumper right? What do I need for the portion on top of the wheel and just to the left? If you look at the picture you can see the rust spots.

The part you show from Classic Industries is the standard patch panel for 66-7. It'll fix part of your rust damage, there is another panel available to fix the other damage as well. Here is a link to Sherman and Associates, they've been making those panels for years. Like WS27 said, they need work to fit, but sometimes they are better than nothing.

No one makes a full quarter panel for 66 and 67's, and finding a NOS one is extremely tough (and very expensive). Your best bet is to find a donor car and cut the panel off that one or scrounge the swap meets

Right, so what is the other section referred to?

Also, you say my best bet is to find a donor car. So are you saying I shouldnt use the after market panels?

Sorry, sometimes I need to be hit on the head with a sledgehammier to notice...

You might be better off patching in pieces. The dog leg should be very easy and cheap to get from a four door parts car, and the lower quarter behind the wheel you could get one of those patch panels. You sould really talk to the guy doing the work to see what they are comfortable doing.
