It seems like I'm always tinkering on the motor, it's getting really old having to take the radiator out whenever I have to take the fan off! Are electric fans worth running, if so should I run a single or double fan setup? Thanks in advance.
Installing fans is more than just dropping them in. You have to take into account the extra draw the fans will put on your charging system, especially at idle. Also, on the highway they can interfere with the flow of air thru the radiator. And depending on how the fans are mounted and where, can actually increase the amount of time it takes to pull the radiator.
Just me.. but unless you have a need for them, stick with a clutch style fan.
I agree with Mike, if it ain't broke, leave it alone.

X3!!!!!!!!
Once again, Mike is spot on. I live in Phoenix AZ where is gets well over a hundred degrees every day for 3 to 4 months every year and in all of the many years that I've been driving Muscle cars, or older vehicles in general in that heat, I've hated every electric fan that I've ever tried. I finally just gave up trying to use them for all of the reasons that Mike mentioned, plus I really don't like the way that you have to mount most of them in your older vehicle that wasn't designed to use an electric fan. For me personally, they ended up causing more problems than they solved, but as with everything else, to each his, or her own.

Thank you for all the advice! From the sounds of it I'll stay away from them, to much hassle. I'll just keep what I have.
