I can't speak for Jegs and Summit, but I'm happy with the results I got with with Damplifier from Second Skin Audio.

I bet that will make a HUGE difference, nice work. I did the inside of my doors only so far and they sound like a vault door closing now.

Ahhhhh.....vault doors......many memories of dealing with Bank vault doors over 33 years............ lets see, 3 turns right to 35, 2 turns left to 74, 1 turn right to 15, left to stop........BINGO!
Ok sorry BooBoo, Andy got me a little off track there for a second......but as far as your question regarding the sound and heat reduction materials go, back in 2008 I purchased a product to use in my 66 Coronet 500 called RAAMmat, which I purchased from a company called RAAMaudio. I spoke and made my purchase directly with the companies owner, Rick McCallum, who I found to be extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I haven't installed the products yet, but I will say that they are very high quality materials and come with high praise from others who have use it over the years and I will look forward to installing my RAAMmat products when it comes to that point in my cars interior restoration. Here in Phoenix, we try to REDUCE interior heat, not KEEP heat inside of our cars, but it's cool that one product can help both of us meet our needs!
Here's a link to their web site if you'd like to check them out:
