I used Rust-oleum Textured #7220 satin black, very happy with how it came out. I did Tank after that too.

Hey Jeff, could you elaborate on that. It seems you might have created a great way of repairing the chrome. I didn't realize you restored the actual bezels yourself. That is unbelievable work. You may have created a new business for yourself.

You just showed me that i need to get a chrome/silver paint pen and fix my Dodge above the steering wheel and my heater controls... lol
I see that I never answered your question Rich - Bare Metal Foil is designed to use for chrome trim on plastic models. It comes in 4x6 inch sheets is very thin and has an adhesive backing. You cut out pieces slightly oversized, apply to the part then you trim with an exacto blade, you use very light pressure when you cut. When the pieces over lap the seam is barely visible.
