993 994 Hi, my name is Dan. I just got a 1950 Coronet last week. I have been waiting 21 years to buy an old 50's car and this one and I fell in love at first site! I am not planning on a full resto at this time as I am more into the ratrods and patinaed cars. Her body will always remain in stock form. I am going to restore the interior and throw some wider white walls on her and call it good for now. The only rust to repair is in the trunk wich is nice because it is hidden for now. I can't wait to get her road
. We call her.....995 !!!!!
Hi Dan ! Welcome to the site and congrats on your car purchase .
Welcome Dan! Nice looking car you got there... glad to see we're getting more and more of the first gen cars here..
Welcome to the site, nice car.
Neat looking car, welcome Dan.
Welcome Dan glad to see you enjoy these cool oldies.
These pics are amazing I love em !!!
nice car! nice bettys! be sure to over use the term ratrod, i like that it annoys so many people. my 47 desoto had a bit to much patina, including rust holes as it was stripped to bare metal some time in the 70`s. so i`m painting it satin black and giving it an 318/833 od/8.75 rear.

Thanks, the photos with the HB and Humble Beginnings water marks were taken by my wife. I have tons more to post! We did a 5 hour shoot with Eleanore and Chante, last summer, and the car. That is when I fell in love with this old girl. The next weekend I left for basic training. During the shoot I had expressed interest in the car so the owner held her for me for 8 months, turning down offers even, to give me a chance to buy her! We did another shoot with her last weekend, we piled 8 pinup models in and around her! 996

I would love to see a pic of your Ratrod!!!! The old Ratrodders pioneered car custumization in this country! Satin black is my favorite color for a car! My gas getter is a 94 suzuki swift with a satin black finish and barn red wheels! Hell I had an 86 benz that I spayed satin black, it looked mean!
Welcome to the site!! We've got quite a few guys here with early coronets!!
