Where the bulbs plug in. The metal on the socket is the ground for the bulb. If the socket or the taillight housing is corroded or doesn't fit snug, you'll get a bad ground and either a dim bulb or none at all.

67. So you mean the outside part of the plug? It fits very tight so that's not the issue. I could def see it being corroded. How would I go about cleaning each side? The same steps expalined above for cleaning the fuse box?

From the sounds of it? Crappy connections and crusty light sockets I bed to be your troubles.
My advise is. Go 1 light at a time and replace the sockets. Yes you can buy new sockets at NAPA. Remove the light housing and you will see how the socket is pressed into the pot metal light fixture. It will come out with a little effort. The rear lights would talk a 1157 bulb socket. Not sure up front? Once new sockets are in place SOLDER your connections. !! Take your time and do it right..
You will get there and learn a thing or two.... Good luck

I would also pack some Deletric grease in all the sockets, that should prevent any corrosion from forming, you can get it in tubes at any parts store, Autozone, Advance.
