Yes, after a parade last year, the shifter literally flopped on the floor. I could weld it back together, replace it with another inland, or put on the Hurst with the inland adapter welded on to it...

YES, after ALL the hassle with those shifters, that's what I did, put a Hurst mechansiam on and a buddy welded up the 3 hole unit to it so I could use the handle, works great!!!
