I truly appreciate that. Thank you. I purchased the car about 3 years ago. From what I have found out it sat out in a field for many years. A buddy of mine rescued it from there and brought it home and I purchased it from him. A lot of the unique parts were stripped off of it and none of the original drive train was present. Although probably not too popular with the purists I decided I wanted a car that looks like a 67 Coronet R/T with a combination of original look with modern day touches/performance. The car was in relatively decent shape from the nose to about the package tray area but behind that it was a complete mess. My wife and I stripped the car down to its bones (didnt take a lot of effort since it was nearly stripped anyway) and it was then I realized it was way too much for me to tackle on my own. I have a close friend out here that owns a hot rod shop so I enlisted him to help me out. New rear frame rails and a boat load of metal work to get her back to a solid foundation. She has a 508 CI balanced and blueprinted Mopar power plant with Holley Sniper EFI, Full performance front and rear suspension with fully adjustable coil overs, Vintage Air etc. She is just about ready to go back in for acid bath, final body work and paint. Then finally it will be time to complete the installs. Chomping at the bit to get her done!!
