My tires are little long in the tooth (17rs)... not showing dry rot, on side but definetely don't grip like they did. What brand you guys running? Drag slicks not on the table as I can't run a loop with my overdrive. I don't want BFG Radial T/A's, specs n them are garbage.

I got 215/70/15 on 7.5? rims (not 8's althought I got a pair) up front and 255/60/15 (biggest) out back.. Weren't bad tires in their day, but now not so good..
Cooper?
that what I was thinking too, or I found they still make these tires (Yokohama Avid S/T) in size I want. Like the fact blackwall, kinda makes it still sleeperish..
My Coopers work great for all around good tire on a budget even at the strip just don't get them wet or they go up in smoke.

Made in USA
I was always fond of Yokohama also just didn't find what I needed at the time.
Same with Yoko's... any water and it's spin spin spin.. And they are made in USA as well (Virginia).
Yokohama out... while tire store said they could get them, warehouse told em no.. been discontinued...
