This one has all of the options that everybody wants on a '69 Road Runner. I'm a bit surprised that it's been looked at by Mr Govier as it isn't a Hemi car and it isn't factory stock. Still a good looking car and it will go for a lot more than it's current bid of $7,777.00.

I love it!
Still only at $13K but 5 days left. Bids will most likely get fast and furious on the last day. It also has a rather unusual option with the painted top. Don't see that very often.

Just me... but this is a perfect example of lipstick on a pig. Notice the yellow paint under the black by the fender tag and one picture of a scrape on rocker panel? And if you look at the other pictures, the interior door and rear trim are bright white, but the sedan post is faded white, and the trunk is way too glossy to be original. Not to mention different color bolts holding the trunk latch on, and the wire nuts hanging underneath the dash, or the missing bolts on the hood latch. And when's the last time you saw a VIN tag painted black, except for the Chrysler logo? And the "corrosion noted on exhaust"? That' oil and other fluids leaking on pipes or out of the muffler from inside the engine.. The only "new" looking things besides the paint and seat covers are the typical bolt on things you can buy at any Mopar re-popper.. (RR decals, horn, washer bottle, etc). Look at the instrument cluster, it looks like it came out of a junkyard for fucks sake.. And I wonder how many gloss black paint cans they went thru underneath on the trans and rear?

While Galen may have issued a letter based on the VIN and fender tag 13yrs ago, that is just him decoding the VIN, not saying the car is real.. Me thinks this baby started out as a slant six Satellite and got VIN swapped.. That's why a "dealer" is putting it up there, cause it's probably been gone over and the VIN tag don't match the stampings on the body and this is the only way he can dump it.

If it goes for $13K it's still not a bad deal.. but they should call it a "tribute" car and probably get more for it instead of trying
Holy crap... someone actually paid $48K for this thing at BJ one time... and the seller claims it's "numbers matching"... hmm.. what numbers match? The year on the title matches the grille design?
It sold again at BJ in January for $52K, now this dealer wanted $78 grand for it at first til he put it on BAT... and as a friend pointed out, it's got the wrong dash in it. It's from a 68, not a 69. And once someone posted about wanting pictures of the VIN pad on the engine and trans, the dealer removed those words from the auction..

Welp... to give credibility to BAT website.. I say this.. I posted comments regarding the validity of the the vehicle... pointed out discrepancies in the car.... it lasted until today until it was removed..

And the person selling promised to post pictures of the VIN tags of the trans and engine as someone asked.. nothing..

Caveat Empotor
I still love it but that is stupid money for that car and given the issues I would want it at 20K.
I posted a long list of what was wrong (missing sway bar, engine/trans don't appear to be out of a 69), dash pad is out of a 68 and the seller had the post removed.. He promised to post pictures of the VIN on the engine/trans, but instead removed "numbers matching" from the description. It sold at BJ in Jan for $52K, and then this guy got hold of it, apparently it's had lot of owners over the years. I think people get Wow'd by the color scheme and rareness of it and find out later it's not a real 69 RR.

It's up to almost $32K now...
Unless bidding gets fast and furious, this guy gonna lose his shirt unless he renegs on the auction.. here's what he really wants for it..
