This beauty sold for $32,250 on 8-4-2022. That is a steal for a vintage race car like this with a cool history! I pity the winning bidders neighbors! LOL!

I remember that car
Very cool indeed huh Andy?

And no engine parts poking out of body.
Hot air.
This Barracuda represents drag racing back when it was fun at least for me and the Funny Cars, Pro Stock cars and Super Stock cars still looked like the cars you drove to the race track. The new Funny Cars in my opinion look absolutely nothing like the cars they are supposedly based on and the Pro Stock cars are too modified for my taste as well. Add to that the Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars are running the shorter passes so the races aren't much more than a glorified burnout for me. I am truly grateful that I grew up in the 60's and 7o's and was able to see these kinds of race cars like this one in person.

Maybe I should start a poll to see if more DCR members like the vintage Funny Cars like this one.....

....or the current Funny Cars like this one.
