The gaffer tape holding the glass frame on the garage window gives way, then the tape holding the glass gives way while waiting for your "custom" door to arrive..

Who'd a thunk a chintzy pane of 1/8" thick glass would put a divot into a trunk lid?

Ouch that really sucks. Tape, never to be trusted.
And caulk.. the window was caulked to the outer frame over a month ago. It's a brown door so with the heat it's getting brutally hot on it and prob loosening everything up.. Even my temp patch of a piece of aluminum failed after about an hour of direct sunlight.. pop rivet time til new door..

And yet that hood with a windshield and other parts on it has been there for 15yrs and never creaked once (thankfully).
