Yes Sir, just bought a 67 coronet 440 4 door. It has a 318LA. I originally come here to see if I could find info on the 2 bolt valve covers it has. I've tinkered with cars my whole life and have never seen anything like that.
Welcome to the board!
The 318A motor has the 2 bolt valve covers. Commonly called a 318 poly. The 318LA has 5 bolts on the valve cover.
HMMMM .... I guess there has been a engine swap at one point. Because there is a F in the VIN#. This makes my new play pretty more fun to deal with. Thank you so much for the info given.
Welcome aboard
Any pics ?

first pic is right after my buddy painted it. the second is how it is now
Takes allot of skill to paint like that
My buddy that I bought the car from is a tattoo artist. He painted it up to draw attention to his shop.
That's quite a paint job!
That car could have had a 318 Poly from the factory. I have one. It was referred to as Canadian, but I think that meant built for Canada, but not sure because it was built in St Louis and had a MPH speedo. I'm not even sure if they ever had KPH speedos either. I'm curious how close our VINs are.
On Rockauto, they call it Canadian built.:
