Hello,

I discovered my horn not working today. Thoughts on process to run down? I can't seem to get horn ring off either. 1965 Dodge Coronet 440 sedan. Thanks all!
Wiggle the connectors at horn relay while someone pushing on horn button. Might be a bad connection or relay wore out.
Yes, I tried that. Nothing.
The horn ring rotates counter clockwise to get it off. This also had me baffled for quite a while when I got my 65 and was trying to replace the turn signal cancellation cam.
Finally had some time to look at this today. See attached pictures. At least one of my problems is the horn switch (is this right term? black plastic circular piece with 3 nubs on it) is cracked in 3 places. Is this part generally available? I don't find it easily on a Google search. Thank you for any direction.

There is a part# stamped on it somewhere if original, then do a search on that #.
I would need to finish taking it apart to do that! :-)

Thanks Andy, I'll do that next.

Did you try a jumper wire right to the horn/s to make sure they even work before getting to carried away?

As always, brilliant advise Andy. Thank you.

It's a Littelfuse Horn Switch part number 1972391 and it's past it's useful life. See pix.

I only find one on eBay in Mexico which makes me a little suspect. At $159 I'd want to be sure about it. If it was US, I'd do it. Anyone have buying experience on eBay with Mexico seller?

Anyone got any advice on where else to look for one?

Thank you!

Found a used one for $69. And an NOS one here in states for $240. Thoughts on used vs. NOS?
