This year I entered my '96 Grand Sport Corvette (1 of 1,000) along with a matching Go Kart. My Dad bought the Go Kart back in '85 and custom painted it to match his custom full size '85. Its been in their basement for the last 25-30yrs. Last year prior to the '17 show I started putzin with trying to have it read to have in the show with my Dad's '67 R/T last year but ran outta time. It worked out better for this year as I was able to re-create what he did for the 85 show by having the full scale car and matching kart. Took a 1st place with the Go Kart and 3rd with my real car.
Custom features on the Go Kart are:
Working fog/brake lamps
Custom seat/carpet and door trim panels
Hand made exhaust tips chromed
Customized golf cart hubcaps to resemble real car wheels
Hand made rear wheel flares like real car
Custom made emblems and body decals

Had a blast again being in the show!

Yes lots of REAL nice Mopars this year. The local urban legend Hemi Challenger was even there! This was the one that was recently in the magazine owned by the Detroit cop. Very cool to see and very nice people. I’ll try and post some more pics. My phone doesn’t always allow me to post pics on here so I’ll do it from work.

I remember pics of the cart last year. Looks great. Love to see other pics too.
