Just noticed that American Excellence now has the new 1/18 scale Dodge Coronet Club Coupe, by BoS (Best of Show), in stock.BoS models look great and have beautiful exterior detail. The interiors look good too. BoS models are heavy but have no opening features and no chassis detail. But if you collect 1/18 scale diecast cars, and need an early 50's Dodge in your collection, this is the only one thats ever been made in this scale. In fact, I believe its the only early 50's Mopar available in this scale. BoS models are typically limited editions. When sold out, they are no longer available. However, in the case of the 57 Imperial they did in 1/18 scale, they sold out quick enough to convince them to release another 57 Imperial in a different color. Bottom line is, if you want one, don't wait to see if they ever do another color.
In photos, like the ones shown here, the BoS model cars look real. The one part that they consistantly do poorly are the vent windows. The separation between the vent window and the door glass is merely printed on the side glass as it is in these photos.
