Hello, so when I was a kid, my parents bought a brand new, blue '67 Coronet station wagon. There are numerous pics of that old car in family picture albums and it's a car that has always stuck with me. As an adult, I've always wanted one. Well last week I finally got one. It's the same exact year & color except mine's a sedan instead of a wagon. It's a true survivor car. No rust, original interior although it needs some help, am radio, original jack and mat still in the trunk. All of the trim is excellent and intact, perfect chrome bumpers and not a single door ding. It runs great too! All I plan on doing is replacing the interior, new tires, getting the A/C working, a clear coat on the nice patina and of course all the other little things like rubber fuel lines and stuff. I'll be going through the brakes as well. I can't wait to get it on the road. The last time it was registered was 2003.
I have been pouring over this site and have already learned a lot. I appreciate all of the knowledge sharing this site offers!

That's a straight looking car! Glad to see someone save the average Coronet instead of parting it out. Post pics! Loving seeing survivors to reference how things are supposed to be.
What a find! Welcome

keep those pics coming
8508]8509]8510]Thank you! Yeah I'm pretty jazzed about it. Here's a few more pics.
Really cool car! I love it! 273 or 318?
Thank you! Ummm...not sure. I assumed it was a 318. I need to decode the VIN. Is there a decoder somewhere on this site?
Welcome. nice find. my old summer car was a 67 Coronet 4 dr. it had a 273 aoto. I parted it out ( rusty). I may still have some of the interior left! I now saved a 69 4 dr coronet. I drive all summer.
Welcome to the DCR!
Thanks guys and thanks for the VIN decoder. It is a 318 LA. Don't know what that means but it is a "high" price class which I like. Maybe that's because it has A/C. Not sure. Every time I look at it, I just want to jump in and drive it. Patience grasshoppa! Gotta take care of a few things on it first. You can see by my first pic, I live in the desert so I have driven it around a little, just can't take it on the road quite yet.
