Why is it staying on? I've installed A body discs up front and a reproduction booster assembly for power brakes. The pedal seems firm and the car stops in the lot. Once in a while when the pedal is pushed to the floor firmly the light will go off (car running). I bled all four corners again today and cracked the lines at the master while holding the pedal down. Bench bled the master before install of course too. Distribution block is a new repro piece with new switch. The parking brake pedal is depressing the switch.
Am I missing something?? Something else to check?
Yes! There is a pressure switch at the distribution block usually mounted on drivers side between firewall and steering box on the rail.
Probably unplugged or wire cut.
i have a picture if you need it.

Notice the rust out? Yeah it's been fixed!
The wire and harness are brand new. Gonna try pushing the plug on harder just to be sure. Everything in the system is brand new.

I like to put a dab of dielectric grease on it.
Some times those switches get stuck in the closed position. Try pushing on the brake pedal super hard (with both feet) youll here a pop and the light will go out. If not you might have to replace it.

Even a brand new one? Could pushrod adjustment have anything to do with it? I wouldn't think so but just exhausting every possibility.
