From what I've seen most tubes were bare. Handles mostly were engine color with the exception of a few special engines. This is a pic of what I believe to be the original handle but it has dark green paint on it. I included one of the spark plug wire brackets for color comparison to the original turquoise.

It may very well be from another motor. Somewhere along it's life the original one got left after and oil change, and whover did it used whatever was available..
I bet that dipstick and holder were really turquise. I think some of this varys from plant to plant. My dipstick handle is black and the tube is bare metal.

Same thoughts. Was thinking maybe the heat discolored the paint but none of the plug wire brackets that saw higher temps turned that shade of green.

...and I still say, depends what plant a car came out of.
