I went to visit my car this weekend and found that sometime last year at a car show someone had left a biz card in my car and it must had slipped down in the crack of the seat. I found it Saturday. On the card it said I love your car and I have a few HEMI'S in my cellar if you are interested. TO make a long story short I call the guy and found out that he has an original drive train from a 1967 hemi GTX, engine tranny. He also has a 1964 426 super stock hemi with the original cross ram and carbs still on it! He also has a 1966 426 Hemi.
He wants to sell them all and is going to give me a price for them individually and as a package. Pretty friggin cool! I want that super stock Hemi!!!
Hell yea man,let us know!!!!
That's a find of a lifetime! Dreams are made of this.
Hopefully I will find out this week! If I don't hear from him I'm going to call him on Friday or Saturday.
That may take a "thick" wallet!
Anyone have any idea what an 64 super stock hemi is worth? Sitting since 1972, 10k???
I'd say double that easily maybe more. They are now as rare as rocking horse poops.
Block alone 10 grand
popcorn
So if the guy wants 5k I should buy it!!
