Hi All,

I haven't posted here in so long that my login info did not work anymore and had to create a new one. It's been tough sledding over here trying to scrape up money to put into the car with a young family and new home owners, but here is what I have so far:

1966 Dodge Coronet 500
1969 4-barrel 383 with 440 heads (Not sure who put it in, but it's a nice upgrade from the original 361)

The story:
Bought the car from a guy who sold cars he found in storage yards and containers. Had been sitting in storage for 7+ years. Nothing but a little surface rust and mostly original including the daffodil yellow paint. No keys, not running. Bought it for $1500 and towed it home about 10 years ago when I was 18.

Upgrades:
Rebuilt front Suspension from Just Suspension (I think that's where I got it).
New Disc Brakes in the front from Wilwood and rebuilt drums in the rear.
New Hollie carb 750 double pumper I believe.
Racing seat and grant steering wheel that I bought from Richard on these boards a long time ago.

To do list on a budget:
Interior - Add carpet, replace visors, reupholster seats.
Exterior - Paint job badly needed. New wheels and tires.
Engine - Rebuild motor at some point and beef it up a little if possible.

Didn't really know what I was doing when I first got the car, but really wanted to work on it so I sanded it all down and rattle canned it with rust oleum. Probably should have just left the original paint even though it needed a paint job from day one.

Here is how she looks right now. Still hoping someday to add my dream car to the collection (1968 Dodge Charger).

There is also a hardcore mopar guy that lives right around the corner from me. I believe his name is Dave, but I am not sure if he is on these boards. He has a Duster and a Challenger and I believe some other mopars as well.

Even though I have other cars for transportation purposes I will always be a mopar nut. Not to mention, to my wife's demise, it will always be a part of my skin Wink.

welcome back !!
Welcome back. You have a great condition 66. Looks really solid.
Glad you came back!
Nice Coronet, good luck with your project and welcome back!
I like your ride. It is more than a diamond in the rough. The 500 ´66-67 Coronets are among the most beautiful cars created in Detroit.

Love the '66 body. An alpha-male car. Great stance and profile. This one looks pretty straight, solid car. I am not Worthy
