Hello guys. I am curious on what model pertronix unit to get for my 1966 318 poly with a prestolite dual points distributor.. There are different options for them and I wanna make sure I get the right one because I want electronic ignition without a bunch of extra stuff.
Thanks,
John

You better call them on that one, I cannot find that listed

Stock dual point? If you see a number on it let us know we can find out .
I'll see if I can check it out tonight and see if I can find a number
Well i didnt get a chance to go see tonight at my winter garage for it. hopefully ill get one tomorrow night
When I bought my dart it had a 340 with iron dual point which might have been correct for a 340 but after checking numbers it was out of a earlier car so thats why I don't want you to order something that won't fit yours properly
It's definitely a presto lite dual points distributor...here's the picture of the distributor and the numbers on the side..hopefully we can figure something out

Did you call petronix tech line with that #?
I was making sure you guys had no idea before I did that...but next day I am off I will give them a call if you don't know
I do not know that unit, let us know what works out. I like the adjustable dwell on it similar to a accel from back in the day.
any idea what that first digit is on part# , I can't tell?
I'm thinking maybe it's a D
