Has anyone been able to come up with a paint code for custom mixing engine paint using one of the big paint companys (PPG, BASF, etc)?

I want to spray it single stage urethane and if I come up with a code to mix it I will be able to make the paint.

The only thing I've found so far is the part number for the Mopar spray paint.

I asked my mopar restoration guy and he said just use the spray cans.

Obviously he was no help..............

Especially since the color can change from can to can and brand to brand..

I used the Chrysler "rattle" cans to paint my motor and it came out ok, when you fire it up, the paint really sticks to the block.
