I am looking at buying a 70 convertible no engine no trans has a dana 60 VIN WP27 5th digit can not tell looks like an O(not a 0 zero) or a C and not at all like a G. WP27_ 0G102568. I can only assume its a G. Will try to upload picture.
It is a 0 (zero) for the model year 1970 and a G as all 1970 B body convertibles were built at the ST. Louis (G) plant.

It will be WP27(F-318, G 383-2 OR H 383-4)0G102568.

1970 Coronet 500's only came with 318's, 383-2bbl or 383-4bbl. Danas came behind Hemi and 440 cars so there is no reason for a Coronet 500 to have a Dana.
I guess the fifth digit is a G
who knows when the Dana found its way in there over the lass 45 years

.....you mean 6th?

P is listed as premium. I'm not sure what that means?
In my book I don't have an F for engine. G is listed as 318 and H is 340.
Galen's book

The p stands for premium of 500 series. Rts were s, 27 stands for convertible fifth letter is for engine, 6th number is year of build, 7th letter is build plant, last 6 are build sequence.
