The AMX and Javelin models equipped with the 390 engines were very nice indeed! I had a friend many years ago that owned a 1970 AMX with the 390 and 4 speed combo and that car was very quick! I also owned a 360 with automatic equipped 1974 Javelin and I really liked it as well!
As far as this 68 AMX goes, it's a very cool car, but I'm not liking those phony roof scoops! :p
