Is dynamat OK to use in place of factory sound deadener for inside roof behind headliner?

That foamy stuff they give you even from Legendary doesn't look like it will do much.
I've used dynamat with good results in a roof before. It sure quites the car.
Quiet the car! Why would you want to do that? I love the sound of my car, the rumble is awesome!!!!
Dynamat will just remove the tin can sound from the roof. It won't effect the sweet music from the exhaust. I even install it inside of my doors. Makes the door sound solid when closing it.
I did my doors too on Max, I had some left over from another job and it really made doors feel solid. If would have only done my Challenger doors I might have kept it HAHA, they have that rattly things falling off sound.

My only concern on inside roof was if it will stay put with the heat of the day, it seems real sticky so shouldn't be an issue if prepped correctly.
I haven't had problems with it falling off but there is a big difference in the weather from where I am in Michigan to Pismo Beach
That was my concern in the Florida heat... even though it pulls paint when you try to remove it. I stuck to floors and doors, headliners are a extreme pain in the ass to deal with. Not worth the risk.
