Hi everybody, Im Lou, i have a 1966 coronet r/t (in process of restoration) im happy to find a forum for coronet's owners, and all the help will be welcome,

the car was sold in mexico, the strange thing here (and its all original) is that grill and bumper are same as charger 1966, but in the back is same as the coronet in the image, and this car never had modifications

Great car I am sure, it is very easy to swap a R/T emblem on the back for what I believe should be a unique to Mexico Coronet emblem.
I am eager to hear more about your purchase no matter what it turns out to be, they are all very cool.

I wanted to put charger grill on mine way back and would have if I found a nice one at the time.

I wanted to do this also, I think they give the car a completely different look. It's hard to find em in nice shape nowadays
Well i will post pics of the restoration procedure, the hard part is find some parts here but I found a great fabricator so he is fixing many details in grill

Where are you from? Sounds like you have a Mexican Coronet with maybe the RT emblems switched? Can you give us the first four of the VIN? Engine size?

Love to see some pictures even all apart.
