I'm having trouble finding an air cleaner setup that will work on my 70 Coronet. It has an aftermarket K frame, flat hood, a crate HEMI motor with a marine manifold and dual Edelbrock carbs. What came with the car hits the hood (pic 1). I guess I need something like in (pic 2).

I see some out there, but not sure what works and what does not. I would like to see if somebody has something that does work with my setup, and if I could try before I buy would be great too Smile

Much appreciated help.

I'd go with a scooped hood sealed to a base plate between your carbs , you need lots of cold air to that engine anyways....just my 2 cents worth. Oh, and welcome to the site!
I talked to the Edelbrock people at the March Meet event this past weekend, and they showed me a manifold of theirs that will fix my problems. It was a factory height and factory spaced manifold of theirs. They said it will fit a factory air cleaner setup. They also said my marine manifold is just over an inch higher and is the issue. I'll give their manifold a try.

I'll worry about the cold air later if the car gets driven, but yea that would be better in many ways. Thank you..
