Just signed up here and wanted to say hi and show the car. I'm in the Seattle area and would love to meet others from around here with Coronets or similar B-body cars.
It runs and drive amazingly well and I have only found one tiny ding on the right front fender. All the chrome is in great shape and there is virtually no rust I've found besides a couple teeny spots on the surface. I am going to refresh the front end parts as well as the steering gear and refresh a lot of the electrical including bypassing the ammeter and running a direct line from the battery to the starter and alternator. I think after that I will put in new carpet, add headers, glasspacks, rebuild the carburetor, attempt to fix any oil leaks and then paint. I'm thinking dark green with a black stripe down the middle but who knows I will probably change my mind multiple times before then. I also haven't decided if I want to keep the original steel wheels with the original caps. I think I want a little more aggressive of a look from the wheels than the stock look.
It will most likely sleep under a cover for most of the winter. Here are some picks I took on a rainy day.
