Just bought 3/4" rear sway bar from summit. Never installed one,so in the dark on this. Anything hard or unusual I should prepare for???? Thanks Beer

Summit # ACO-919, didn't realize there were different ones,thought all rear sways were the same. Hope I made a good choice cause it arrived today! Thanks guys

The differences between the sway bars is the size, and how they attach. Yours uses front sway bar style links to connect the bar to the frame. Others like this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-720231 use a bushed end link to connect the bar to the frame.
One thing that will effect this bar is your ride height. When mocking the bar up, make sure your car is at normal ride height, and the weight of the vehicle is supported by the axle. If your rear springs are arched for more ride height, or run air shocks or longer shackles, you may need a longer sway bar end link to make it work.
I bought this bar for my car from Summit, and had to return it because it would not fit. The bar itself was too narrow to line up correctly with the frame mount. It may have fit with a longer sway bar end link, but the ones supplied with the kit would not reach, nor did I feel comfortable with the angle it would connect at. (the bar fits all A and B bodies from 62-70, and those all don't have the same dimensions in the rear).

Ok, I read the instructions and seems pretty easy. Now I wanted to install bar on my lift and then lower car to ground and tighten everything up,will this work? Having a lift, I hate crawling under the car, I am spoiled!!
